The SOUTH ST. PAUL LIONS had their awards banquet May 16.

Lion President Greg lead the Pride of South St. Paul through an evening of recognition and proper preparation for the future.

Lion Dana presented Lion Chris with the Melvin Jones (Lions founder) Fellowship Award. This award recognizes a Lion who has provided service above and beyond the everyday Lion commitment within our service community.

Lion Greg presented Lion Shawn Krueger with the Minnesota Helen Keller Sight Award. This award honors a Lion that has distinguished themselves on behalf of sight.

Immediate Past Lion President Lion Rich (who organized this annual banquet) presented Lion Tom with the Dream Catcher Award. This award observes the actions made by a Lion with the hope and effort that a cure for diabetes will soon be found.

Then, one of the most challenging and honor-filled choices made by a Lions Club president is the Lion of the Year Award. Lion Greg N, who joined the South St. Paul Lions Club in 2007, was presented with the 2023-2024 Lion of the Year Award, a recognition that genuinely reflects his dedication and numerous contributions to the club.
