The Maplewood North Lions Club held a silent auction on May 7 at our 60th Anniversary party to support the Maplewood Police Benefit Fund. On June 18, we presented a check to Ashley Bergeron and Barb Johnson in the amount of $1009.48. The Maplewood Police Benefit Fund raises dollars to support the families of fallen officers and also to provide gifts to officers who celebrate a wedding or the birth or adoption of a child, among other things.
